Conservation status
Main structure well preserved. Houses the Surinamese Museum and Nola Hatterman Academy. Included in the UNESCO site. Restoration mentioned for associated officers' houses (SGES/Cultuurfonds). Bullet holes from 1982 visible. Adaptive reuse contributes to preservation.
