IPT / Portugal
Our first institutional partnership, the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (IPT), is a public higher education institution in Portugal, headquartered in Tomar, with an additional campus in Abrantes. Recognized for its practical and job market-oriented approach, the IPT offers a wide range of bachelor's, master's, and Professional Higher Technical Courses (CTeSP) in fields such as technology, art, management, tourism, and conservation. The institution stands out for its strong connection with companies and institutions, promoting applied research and innovation, and preparing its students for real-world challenges through well-equipped laboratories, practical projects, and exchange programs, thus contributing significantly to regional and national development.

Since February 2022, the EXEA Museum has established a strategic partnership with Google, resulting in its integration into the Google Arts & Culture platform. This collaboration allows the museum's collection and exhibitions to be accessible to a global audience, democratizing access to maritime culture through innovative technological resources. The Google Arts & Culture platform, which houses over 7,000 museums and cultural institutions from 70 countries, offers virtual visitors the opportunity to explore high-resolution collections, take 360-degree tours of exhibition spaces, and delve deeper into historical and artistic narratives through online exhibitions, videos, and interactive content, making the cultural experience more immersive and educational.

InPact
Also signed in February 2022, the Institute of Research and Action (InPact) is a non-profit environmental organization that conducts research and develops technology for the preservation and conservation of terrestrial and marine environments. Among the actions they promote, they have several programs such as Econectados, which focuses on Eco-Pedagogical and Regenerative Nautical Tourism, aimed at raising awareness for the environmental preservation of reef and mangrove environments. They also organize Semana Náutica (Nautical Week), held in June in allusion to World Ocean Day, which, alongside various segments, fosters Ocean Culture focused on the Paraíba sea.

CEAOS
In 2024, the EXEA Museum formalized an important partnership with CEAOS (Center for Oceanographic and Underwater Archaeology Studies), a segment of the Arqueologistica Group specializing in consulting for archaeological licensing in aquatic environments. This strategic collaboration aims to strengthen the research and documentation of underwater cultural heritage, allowing the EXEA Museum to deepen its studies of past societies through the analysis of physical remains found in oceans, rivers, and lakes. The joining of forces between the museum and CEAOS significantly expands the capacity of both in the preservation and dissemination of rich submerged history.
