Museum Characteristics
Housed in the former Sporting Club of Cascais. It focuses on the history of the sea, marine biodiversity, oceanography, and environmental issues, using dynamic and interactive language. It promotes the King D. Carlos Sea Award for scientific works. A recent project aimed to catalog and digitize the liquid-preserved specimens.
