A museum that explores the maritime heritage of Cornwall and the sea's influence on global history and culture. It houses the National Small Boat Collection.

Observations
The project to create the museum was started in 1992 by the Falmouth International Maritime Initiative (FIMI). The museum building was completed in 2002 and opened to the public in 2003.
