April 2023 brought to the EXEA Museum the exhibition "Naufrágios na Patagônia", the result of Jardel Stenio's fieldwork on the remote Argentine coast. The exhibition documents the author's visit to two impressive beached shipwrecks: the sailing ship SV Marjory Glen (1911) and the cargo ship MV Desdemona (1985). Through photographs, including striking aerial views, and short videos, the exhibition presents not only the steel hulls that withstand time on the cold and inhospitable beaches of Patagonia, but also a brief account of the history of these ships and their tragic fates. A window into shipwreck archaeology and extreme landscapes.
