February 2023 brought significant innovations to Museu EXEA. We launched "Artes do Mar", a new subsection within "Povos do Mar", dedicated to exploring maritime themes in various artistic expressions such as literature, cinema, and music. Visitors can browse categories, view images, read synopses, and even song lyrics. Additionally, we inaugurated "Ao Som dos Steamshipes", our first sound exhibition, developed in collaboration with faculty and students of Graphic Design from IFPB - Campus Cabedelo and volunteer audio describers. Designed for the accessibility of visually impaired people, the exhibition presents the audio description of twelve historical posters of shipping companies. A milestone in inclusion and content diversification at EXEA.
