All Sea Vol 1

In this edition

In the first volume of All Sea, a supplement to ATLANTICUS: EXEA MUSEUM JOURNAL, we bring five publications referring to underwater archaeological sites in Brazil, France, Cyprus, Portugal, and Mozambique.

All Sea Vol 1

The basic idea of the All SEA supplement is to spatially connect the various publications that are observed, like an inventory of site records, integrating each year a map with the location of the published sites. This approach not only offers a panoramic view of underwater archaeological sites over time, but also creates a dynamic platform to explore the interconnections between these sites and the historical, cultural, and environmental events that shaped them. By highlighting the importance of spatial location in understanding these archaeological sites, the All SEA supplement not only enriches our knowledge of the past, but also inspires us to look to the future with a new appreciation for the riches that the aquatic depths have to offer.
