Iara and the Treasures of the Blue Amazon
In this version, the learning journey is led by the character Iara, a curious girl from Cabedelo who transforms complex concepts into an exciting "explorer's mission." The e-book uses playful and visual language to present Brazil's maritime heritage as a large treasure chest, divided between the riches of nature (environmental) and those of our history (cultural).
The summary addresses the importance of caring for the planet through environmental education, introduces the vastness of the "Blue Amazon," and provides accessible warnings about the dangers of pollution and microplastics to marine animals. In the cultural field, Iara teaches the difference between tangible heritage—such as forts and shipwrecks—and intangible heritage—such as festivals and the traditional knowledge of fisherfolk. The central objective is to awaken a sense of belonging, encouraging children to act as "Heroes of Nature" and "Guardians of History."
