Notes

[Source 1] Date of the newspaper publication. The 1st Lieutenant of the Corps of Engineers, André Pinto Rebouças, after conversations with people he considered "reliable", said that 1 km upstream from this bridge, in the locality named "Sanhauá Grande", there were shipyards for repair and construction.
[Source 2] "and that many yachts were built and launched there". However, the 1st Lieutenant Rebouças points out that at that time there was not "in Sanhauá nor in Parahyba a single shipwright" 350, emphasizing the situation in which the province found itself.
