Description

It is a building whose facade resembles the superstructure of a ship and which is still used today as the headquarters of the CPPB. It has 312 m2 of covered area315, being divided into three different buildings: one for the operation of the Captaincy, one for the “Radio Station generator group”, and the third housed the garages and the powder magazine. On the ground floor of the Captaincy building, the Maritime Labor Delegation, Pilotage Office, Port Captain's Office, Scouteria, among others, operated; and on the upper floor was the Port Captain's residence.
