The Supplement: All Sea

All SEA is a supplement to the ATLANTICUS journal, intended to disseminate and host information regarding underwater archaeological heritage, namely nautical structures, isolated finds, or traces of human occupation from any humid environment (sea, river, lagoons, interface areas, wet caves, wells, among others).

Its objective is to concentrate a set of recently discovered data, whether unpublished or already published, highlighting the most relevant results or information from the archaeological site.

The publication frequency depends on the amount of information in the texts to be received, with each series being published for every set of 6 to 8 fascicles.

Each submission receives a number, ID, with which it will be identified, linking to a geographic information system that spatially positions it on a thematic map set of all introductions, which is published revised with each series.

Each introduction or archaeological site must contain mandatory information on spatial positioning in decimal degrees, WGS 1984 (with the option of providing an approximation of a maximum of 500 meters, for protection purposes), the context and description of the site, conditions of the find or work carried out at the archaeological site, a brief history of the discovery, and the considered interpretation/identification.

The authorship of publications and bibliographic citations follow the same rules present in the ATLANTICUS journal.

Additions to published sites will follow as a separate fascicle, with the spatial positioning associated with the different referenced publications.

All submitted articles are reviewed by an international committee composed of three anonymous members specialized in the submitted topic, who will approve the said publication.

Each fascicle is published after approval, awaiting the integration and editing of the series.

Articles are accepted in Portuguese, Spanish, English, and French.

The editing of each series is carried out by LABACPS – Instituto Politécnico de Tomar, and may have other institutions as partners and editors, who collaborate occasionally.
